Dental Exams

A comprehensive dental exam will be performed at your initial dental visit. At this time all necessary x-rays and intra-oral photos, gum evaluation for the complete mouth in order to get a diagnosis and treatment plan.

This will be followed by a consultation with the doctor to explain all the options available to bring your dental health back to an optimum level.

At this time, the doctor will answer your questions and address you concerns. A treatment coordinator will review the financial portion of the treatment you have chosen and schedule an appointment so you can be on your way to a healthy smile.

It is up to you how fast you want to proceed with your treatment. A dental exam will include the following:

• Examination of diagnostic x-rays (radiographs)

• Intra-oral photographs

• Oral cancer screening: Gum disease evaluation

• Examination of tooth decay

• Examination of existing restorations
